Franz-Benjamin is Assistant Professor at the ITC, University of Twente, the Netherlands. René is Juniorprofessor at the School of Spatial Planning, TU Dortmund University, Germany. His research is methodological in nature and concerned with space and place. The take of his work is mostly statistical, but extends beyond that into fundamental conceptual aspects.
